Coolposts  / Analytics and reports

Your analytics

Period, comparison, summary, daily reach, channels, campaigns and the posts table.

Analytics shows how a brand's accounts are doing: followers, posts, reach and engagement, compared with the previous period.

Pick the period

  1. In the side bar, pick the brand and open Analytics.
  2. At the top right, pick 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 180 days. The period always ends today.
  3. Turn on Compare to see, next to each figure, the change against the previous period of the same length. Hover over the switch to see those dates.

The Free plan shows up to 30 days. The 90 and 180-day periods, marked with a padlock, are part of the paid plans.

What's on the page

  • Summary: followers, posts, views, engagement (likes, comments, shares and saves), profile visits, website clicks (the link in the Instagram bio) and link clicks on your bio pages and short links.
  • Daily reach: people who saw anything from the account each day, Instagram and Facebook added up. Dots mark days with a post and, with Compare on, the dashed line is the previous period.
  • Channels: one card per account with its followers, their trend, and its posts, views, engagement and rate.
  • Campaigns: posts grouped by campaign. Type the campaign in the composer or in the Campaign column of the table.
  • Posts: everything published in the period. Click a post to see each network's numbers, and click a column heading to sort by it (again to reverse the order).

The rate is engagement divided by people reached, or by views where the network doesn't report reach. Posts you publish straight on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok show up too.

The same page also has Followers and audience, Reels and Stories, Competitors and your website.

Refresh and export

  • Coolposts reads the numbers on its own: hourly for a post's first two days, every 6 hours up to a week, daily up to 30 days and weekly after that. Press the arrows button (Refresh numbers) to read them now.
  • Export CSV, above the table, downloads one row per post and network, in the order the table is in.

What each network reports

  • Instagram and Facebook: reach, views and engagement per post, plus the account's daily reach and profile visits.
  • X: numbers are read 1, 3, 7 and 30 days after posting. The refresh button doesn't read X.
  • TikTok: if you send a video as a draft, it counts once you publish it from the TikTok app.
  • YouTube: views, likes and comments per video, and subscribers.
  • Bluesky: likes, reposts and quotes, replies, and followers.
  • Threads: views, likes, replies, reposts and quotes, and followers.
  • Twitch: followers, and views per video. Twitch deletes past broadcasts after 7 to 60 days.

If you've just connected an account, its numbers come in within a few hours.
