What to know about each network

Each network takes different things and gives back different numbers; the editor warns you if something doesn't fit. To connect them, see Connect your social accounts.

Instagram

• Posts photos, carousels of 2 to 10 photos and videos, reels (every video is a reel, 3 s to 15 min) and stories. Up to 2,200 characters and 30 hashtags, with First comment and up to 5 Collaborators.
• Numbers: reach, views, likes, comments, saves, shares and watch time on reels. A story's numbers are only read while it's up (24 h).

Facebook

• Pages only. Text, a photo, up to 10 photos, a video or stories, with images up to 10 MB.
• Numbers: reactions, comments, shares, reach, views, clicks and the Page's followers.

Instagram and Facebook comments and messages come into the Inbox.

X

• Connect with X (one-click X) is on paid plans, with a number of posts a month that depends on the plan. With Use your own developer keys you connect X on any plan, without that limit; X bills the calls to your developer account. If you go back to Free, reconnect X with your keys.
• 280 characters (each link counts as 23), up to 4 images (5 MB) or one video up to 2 min 20 s.
• Numbers: views, likes, replies, reposts and quotes, and bookmarks, read 1, 3, 7 and 30 days after publishing. What you post directly on X doesn't show in the calendar.

TikTok

• Personal accounts, video only (at least 3 s). With Connect (inbox), the video lands in your TikTok drafts: open it, add a sound and publish. With Connect (direct) it's published at the time you set; you choose Who can see this video and what you allow (comments, duets, stitches).
• Numbers: views, likes, comments and shares; followers and number of videos.

YouTube

• Video only. The first line is the title (100 characters) and the whole text the description. Vertical videos up to 3 minutes are Shorts. If YouTube keeps a video private, the post tells you: make it public in YouTube Studio.
• Numbers: views, likes, comments and subscribers.

Bluesky

• Connects with an app password, not your own: in Bluesky, Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords.
• 300 characters, up to 4 photos or one video up to 3 minutes. Numbers: likes, reposts and quotes, replies and followers.

Threads

• Any profile, personal ones too. 500 characters, photos, videos up to 5 minutes and carousels of 2 to 20. Only the first hashtag becomes the topic.
• Numbers: views, likes, replies, reposts and followers. Replies come into the Inbox.

Twitch

Analytics only: Twitch doesn't let other apps post, so it doesn't appear in Post to. You see its followers and your videos' views in analytics and reports.
