Notes on posts
Leave notes for your team on a post and mention someone with @ to let them know.
Notes let you talk about a post with your team inside the post itself: an idea, a correction or a heads-up. They are never published on the networks.
Write a note
- In the Calendar, click a post to open its details.
- Scroll down to Notes.
- Type in Add a note… and press Add note. You can also send it with ⌘ + Enter (Ctrl + Enter on Windows).
Each note shows who wrote it and when. A note can be up to 2,000 characters long.
Mention someone
Type @ and start typing the name: a list of your team members appears. Pick one and their name is highlighted in the note.
The name to mention is the person's first name, in lower case and without accents (for example, @lucia). If they have no name in their profile, it's the part of their email before the @.
Who hears about it
- The person you mention gets a notification in Notifications (the bell) saying you mentioned them.
- Everyone else on the team who can see that brand gets a quieter notification that there's a new note.
- Clicking the notification takes you to that brand's calendar.
- If you mention someone who doesn't have access to that brand, they don't get a notification.
See which posts have notes
In the calendar and in the List view, posts with notes show a small icon with the number of notes.
Delete a note
Hover over one of your notes and press Delete. You can only delete notes you wrote.
Clients
People with the client role can't change posts, but they can read and write notes. It's a good way for them to leave feedback. See Team and roles.
