Deleted posts

Get a deleted post back within 30 days, or delete it for good.

When you delete a post, it isn't gone straight away: it moves to Deleted posts for 30 days. That way you can get it back if you deleted it by mistake.

What you can delete

You can delete drafts, scheduled posts and posts that failed. Do it from the post's details or from the editor with Delete, or select several in the List view and press Delete.

Posts that are already on the networks can't be deleted from Coolposts. Delete them on the network; the calendar updates on the next sync.

Restore a post

  1. In the Calendar, press the bin icon at the top, next to New post.
  2. Find the post. Each one shows who deleted it, when, and the day it will be gone for good.
  3. Press Restore.

The post goes back to the calendar with its networks, texts, media and notes.

Does it come back scheduled or as a draft?

A post that was scheduled comes back scheduled if it can still go out. It comes back as a draft, and Coolposts tells you why, when:

  • its time has already passed;
  • one of its accounts is no longer connected;
  • your plan has no room left for more posts that month, or that day already has the most posts the brand allows.

Posts that had failed always come back as drafts, so you can check them and schedule them again.

Delete for good

Press Delete for good and confirm. The post and its media are erased and can't be recovered. After 30 days, Coolposts does this automatically.

People with the client role don't see the bin.
